Improviser - From Good to Great!

A good improviser:

Knows a lot.
Talks loud enough on stage to be heard at the back of the audience.
Portrays a variety of characters.
Expresses oneself, truthfully, in a variety of styles.
Works to create story rather than jokes.

A great improviser:

Lets their partner change them.
Lets the scene transform them.

Lets the story change their character's emotion, beliefs, ideas, and status.

Why Improv

The fundamental concepts of improvisation are based on an assumption that ideas are plentiful. Everyone is inspired and innovative. Everyone can access creative energy, it just takes practice. The practice of improvisation can help people become more attentive, playful, flexible, collaborative, imaginative, and courageous.
